Comox Harbour and Courtenay Slough marinas are located on the eastern shores of central Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. The marinas are easily accessible by water, either northwesterly up through Baynes Sound between Vancouver Island and Denman Island, or across the Comox bar from Georgia Strait.

The Courtenay Slough, is a fresh water marina located on the Courtenay River, right in downtown Courtenay!   The Courtenay River channel is tidal and access to the slough for larger vessels is limited to high tides and a lift bridge opening.  Access to the Courtenay Slough is controlled through the Comox Harbour office and a minimum of 24 hrs. notice is required to lift the bridge.  We recommend that visitors access this marina from the main Harbour in Comox by skiff in the summer months to visit downtown Courtenay.  It is a great adventure to navigate the Courtenay River.  Check the chart in the Comox Harbour office and take a handheld VHF.   Remember that your safety is your responsibility!
